A BACK TO SCHOOL BASH is set for Sunday, August 10 at 5 pm. This outreach to our community will include food, fun, school supplies, free haircuts, a clothing giveaway, etc. In preparation for the event, please consider donating various school supplies (wide rule notebook paper, #2 pencils, colored pencils, glue sticks, safety scissors, pencil boxes, etc.) AND gently used and clean children’s clothing.
A SERVE HARMONY GROVE EVENT is set for Monday, August 11. Celebration will provide breakfast for the campus-wide Professional Development Day at Harmony Grove. We need at least 12 breakfast casseroles, plus other homemade breakfast items. A sign-up sheet is on the welcome center table.
HARMONY GROVE PRAYER WALK set for Monday, August 11 at 7 p.m. The annual prayer walk of the Harmony Grove campus is sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. All churches in our community will be participating. Meet at the Middle School flagpole.
DUE TO CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULING, Celebration will have family-style worship on Sunday, August 17. Family style worship means all ages will gather in the Worship Center for Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m. The 9:30 a.m. Bible Study groups will be dismissed AND 10:30 a.m. Children’s Ministry will be dismissed. Regular schedules for both ministries will resume August 24.
WOMEN’S MONDAY BIBLE STUDY resumes on Monday, August 18 at 10 a.m. The group will be using the book – Becoming a Woman of Beauty and Strength (Esther). See Val Blackmore to purchase a book.
A SR. ADULT LUNCHEON is set for Friday, August 22 at 12 noon in the CBC Foyer.
A SECOND SERVE HG EVENT is set for Friday, August 22. CBC will feed the Freshman Football Team prior to their game that evening.
CENTRAL BAPTIST COLLEGE DAY is planned for August 24. Dr. Jeremy Langley will present the ministry of Central College during Morning Worship.
CBC AWANA CLUBS will kick-off the 2025-26 Club Year on Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m.
