Looking Forward
At Celebration, we are thinking small in 2025. Why? CBC’s 2025 focus will be discipleship. In order to disciple well, a church needs multiple gatherings of small groups, 2-8 people, to gather regularly to walk together in their faith.
Those groups can be couples, all men, or all women. Look around the congregation and select a couple of people with whom you would like to walk together in your spiritual journey over the next few months.
Younger couples are encouraged to ask veteran couples to mentor them. Men should meet with other men for mentoring or peer-to-peer discipleship. The same is true for women. Begin now thinking about what your group will look like. An opportunity to register your group will be available very soon.
As a group, the CBC family will follow the 2025 Celebration Baptist Church reading guide together. It will be published by December 15. The plan includes reading Psalms, Proverbs and the New Testament as a church family. In addition, you will be re-introduced to the SOAP method of personal Bible study and encouraged to SOAP (an introductory video coming soon) through the reading plan throughout 2025.
2025 has to potential to be a pivotal year in the spiritual growth of Celebration Baptist Church. Please commit now to go “all in” with discipleship in 2025.
