CBC is committed to being the Church in the Haskell community and around the world. By showing and sharing the love of Christ in practical ways in everyday circumstances, the Celebration family can influence large numbers of people for Christ.
Showing and sharing the love of Christ begins with the neighbor next door or the family across the street. Simple acts of service are the key to putting one’s faith in action.
Celebration serves the Haskell community in partnership with Harmony Grove Schools by collecting food items for the Harmony Grove Schools Weekend Backpack Food Program, by providing Thanksgiving Baskets to families, by providing Christmas gifts for students, and by providing appreciation gifts for teachers.
Celebration partners with Arkansas Health Center by volunteering at the annual AHC Independence Day Celebration, maintaining a resident seating area, visiting residents, and other AHC events.
Celebration partners with Rineco Industries by co-sponsoring a School Supply Distribution and by delivering Christmas Gifts for Kids provided by Rineco.
Celebration sponsors a Blessing Box, located at 4601 Hwy. 229, for those that might have food insecurity. The Blessing Box is a micro food pantry that is open 24/7/365. All items inside the Blessing Box are free and there are no forms to fill out. The Blessing Box contains non-perishable food items donated by CBC members and friends in the Haskell Community.
Other community events include an annual Mega Kids Camp, a Fall Festival, community car washes, and other impromptu events.
On a personal basis, CBC members express their love for the Haskell Community by assisting families with personal or financial needs and by assisting neighbors with various chores and activities.
