On Sunday, December 31, a new teaching series will begin at Celebration Baptist Church. The title of the series is CHRISTMAS GIFTS. The Biblical narrative includes many prophecies and details about the birth of Jesus. One part of the Christmas story, though it occurred sometime after Christ’s birth, involved a group of wisemen presenting gifts to Jesus. Those gifts were gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Were these just cultural gifts or was their more significance to those gifts than meets the eye at first look? Join others from Haskell and the surrounding communities on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. throughout the month of December as we notice the Christmas Gifts of the Bible.

ANGEL TREE ADOPTIONS – Harmony Grove Schools has reached out to Celebration Baptist Church concerning the adoption of students for Christmas gifts. We have four kids yet to be adopted. See your pastor to volunteer. You can help serve these families three ways . . .
- Purchase Christmas gifts for a child (Suggested $ 80.00)
- Give $ 80.00 to sponsor a child
- Be a designated shopper for a sponsored child using funds given by others.
FUNDRAISER MEAL – A Fundraiser Meal is set for Friday, December 1 at 6:30 p.m. The fundraiser will benefit church camp participants and SOAR 2024 attendees. The meal will consist of pulled pork and the trimmings. Take-out meals will be available. The students/kids will serve the dine-in meals. The cost is $ 12.00 per adult and $ 7.00 for kids twelve and under. Tips are welcomed. Reservations can be made online at https://tinyurl.com/3sp32v98.
LADIES’ CHRISTMAS FELLOWSHIP – A Celebration:Women Christmas fellowship is planned for December 3rd. The event will include a potluck lunch, immediately following Morning Worship, and an ornament exchange. Charissa Eakin will be the speaker.
CELEBRATION:SENIORS – A Celebration:Seniors Brunch is set for December 8 at 10:00 a.m. The menu is traditional breakfast food.
HASKELL HOLIDAY HOUSE – The Haskell Holiday House is set for Saturday, December 9. Various vendors will sell their wares in the HG Multipurpose Room. Proceeds benefit the HG Parent Teacher Organization.
CELEBRATION:KIDS PROGRAM – Celebration:Kids will present their Christmas Drama as a part of Morning Worship on Sunday, Dec. 17th.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE – Christmas Eve falls on Sunday during 2023. The annual Candlelight Service will be held on Sunday, Morning at 10:30 a.m. that day.
